Welcome to the third edition of Mélange.

Every issue of this webzine has grown out of a simple intention—to create a space where voices can meet, breathe, and find resonance. With each step, Mélange has evolved, shaped by its contributors and embraced by its readers.

Mélange remains a meeting place: where language meets language, brushstroke meets word, and reader meets creator.This edition arrives with a quieter palette. Our artist, who has always added colour and depth to these pages, could not join us this time. As a result, this issue stands on words alone—unadorned, unembellished, and entirely lexical.

Yet there is a different kind of beauty here. Without visuals to guide the eye, the spotlight falls wholly on language—on the cadence of sentences, the weight of ideas, the subtle shifts of thought. These pieces invite you to lean in a little closer, to listen more intently, and to discover how words can paint their own images when given the room to breathe.
